As overseer of the asset acquisition due diligence process, SAR+ can assemble, direct, and manage the due diligence team, review and analyze results, and present an integrated assessment of the asset in a form suited to the decision making process.
SAR+ represents the Buyer’s interest by providing the following value added services:- Meeting with the Buyer’s acquisition team to understand the goals and objectives of the acquisition, as well as the financial underwriting criteria for the physical due diligence;
- Establishing a property specific scope of work and inspection schedule for all disciplines including property review checklist, summary report format, schedule of recommended corrections and replacements;
- Diligence coordination and administration including scheduling and management of site visits, document request and review, soliciting proposals and recommending awards for property inspections or testing;
- Quickly distilling preliminary due diligence findings and appraising Buyer of issues of immediate concern or magnitude;
- Leading regularly scheduled team meetings to integrate investigations, identify hidden values and opportunities, and report findings to client;
- Tracking issues which arise and guiding consultants toward resolution or closure;
- Reviewing/finalizing consultant reports for purposes of underwriting the acquisition;
- Analyze consultants’ findings and provide an integrated summary of findings which serves as an effective tool in the client’s decision making process.
